Miss Fort Wayne Scholarship Organization

Community Appearances

Here is a look at what our talented titleholders have been up to...If you are interested in having any of them volunteer at your event, please visit the Contact Us page and we'd be happy to arrange something!

February 6, 2010 - Emily was a hit at this year's Baby Fair and Family Expo where she posed for pictures with some tiny tots from the community and visited with all the vendors and guests (including a slimy one!).

December 12, 2009 - Emily was asked to serenade the shoppers with some Christmas music by playing the piano at the Von Maur Department Store in the Jefferson Pointe mall.  She did a wonderful job and of course was asked to pose for some pictures afterward!

November 14, 2009 - Emily Hart was our representative at the annual Miss Fort Wayne Holiday Craft Show fundraiser.  She helped to sell baked goods, served lunch, drew the names for the raffle prizes, and brightened the whole day with her sparkling personality.  A special thanks to her mom, Louise, for also helping out throughout the day!

November 7, 2009 - Emily Hart was asked to participate in the annual Veterans' Parade in honor and recognition of Veterans Day.  This was very fitting as Emily's personal platform helps to arm disabled veterans with living environments suitable to their needs.  Perhaps the most fun part was the fact that last year's Miss Fort Wayne, Jessica Butler, was Emily's driver!

Later that evening, Emily was a guest of honor at the ACSPCA's Paws and Claws Gala and encouraged people to place silent auction bids for this wonderful cause.

October 19, 2009 - The first official appearance for our 2010 titleholders was participation in the 2nd annual Run for Riley event.  All of the runners had to "line up behind the crowns" before beginning and our titleholders handed out ribbons to children who completed the Kids Fun Run.

After a quick Starbucks run to warm up from the chilly day, Emily and Brianna went to the Great Pumpkin Giveaway at Arlington Park.  Re-max, proud supporters of the Riley Children's Hospital, sponsors this event every year.  While it was too windy for the hot air balloon rides, there was still plenty to do and our girls helped to warm everyone up with hot chocolate and snacks.
